AVC-cPCI 3007 provides a rugged, yet highly flexible COTS computing platform suited for military aviation, civilian aviation, and other applications requiring rock-solid reliability such as UAVs, booster vehicles, and ground vehicles. Manufactured using Electrical Discharge Machining (EDM) and milling, the aluminum alloy (6061-T6) is strong, lightweight, and resistant to EMI. Instead of a wiring harness, the AVC reduces weight and increases reliability by using a lightweight printed circuit board (PCB) to route all internal I/O to the external front panel.
At 5.0" H x 8.73" W x 9.54" L, the 100 watt, 3U cPCI 6 slot configuration provides a Intel ULV Celeron processor, 9 dual redundant 1553 channels, 8 channels of high speed serial, and graphics processing capabilities. The AVC-cPCI 3007 weighs approximately 11 lbs and dissipates under 35 watts of power through conduction cooling.
