Overview

The AFIX (Additional Flexible Interface Xtension) is a daughter card designed specifically for our single board computers. It offers system integrators the opportunity to add features to a host card without using a PMC site. As systems become more complex yet more compact, the AFIX offers the possibility of reduced slot count and therefore lower cost, space and weight. Current AFIX offerings include MIL-STD-1553, SCSI and graphics, and non-volatile memory. We also provide a custom AFIX service, offering the design and development of customer-specific AFIX cards at much lower cost and with a shorter lead time than a full host card modification.

  • Standard AFIX solutions include: single/dual channel dual redundant MIL-STD-1553, 8- or 16-bit SCSI with VGA graphics, and Flash memory
  • Plug-on daughter card for use with our single board computers
  • Custom AFIX solutions available
