Overview


RM946 is a conduction cooled VME64 6U, full wire speed, non-blocking Layer 2 switch with management and 22 ports of 10/100BaseTX and two Gigabit ports. The 10/100BaseTX ports are routed to the P2 connector of the VMEbus, where they are compatible with the Transition Module TRRM931. The Gigabit ports are routed to P0. Management can be done through any of its 24+2 ports. RM946 supports Rapid Spanning Tree for network loop detection and disabling for creating fault tolerant solutions.
