The AVC-cPCI 3001 provides a rugged, yet highly flexible COTS computing platform suited for mission applications requiring rock-solid reliability such as UAVs, booster vehicles, and ground vehicles. Manufactured using Electrical Discharge Machining (EDM) and milling, the aluminum alloy (6061-T6) is strong, lightweight, and resistant to EMI.
At 8.65" H x 11.26" W x 13.6" D, the 300 watt, 3U cPCI 14-slot configuration provides three 2nd generation CM4 PowerPC processors, 24 channels of RS-232/422/485 high speed serial, 4 dual redundant 1553 channels, fibre channel, Ethernet, and 1394 Firewire interfaces, and a GPS receiver. In addition, the DIO2 and DIO3 cards together provide over 150 various types of inputs and outputs including; discrete, analog, excitation, gear sensor, and coil stepper. The AVC-cPCI 3001 weighs under 33 lbs and dissipates under 148 watts of power through conduction cooling.
