SCSI Boot Issues From 7750/7751 When Using Faster Speed IDE DVD

Description

Problems seen booting to SCSI when higher speed IDE DVD drives such as the SONY DRU 720-A are connected using the 7750 or 7751 platforms. SCSI drives boots OK when the Sony DRU-720A IDE drive is set to CD-ROM in the BIOS, but this in-turn causes a LAN 1 network driver issue. If the Sony DRU-720A IDE drive is set to USER in the BIOS, you can not boot to the SCSI drives.

Resolution

Have the 350-027751 brought up the revision D or the 350-027750 brought up to revision H.
