SBS Technologies, Inc., Computer Group, (Nasdaq: SBSE), today announced a strategic alliance between SBS Technologies, Inc. and Lumistar, LLC to cooperatively distribute and support a selected set of products for telemetry solutions. Both companies will jointly develop a digital bit synchronizer daughterboard for SBS compatible products based on a core design exclusively licensed by Lumistar from IN-SNEC. SBS and Lumistar will pass through their standard 2-year warranties for the selected products.

The products that Lumistar has introduced since its inception in March 2000 have received excellent reviews from our customers, but we have not been able to offer the complete breadth of products that are required for flight test and satellite applications. This cooperative agreement with SBS will immediately increase the number of products that we have to offer and generate new business for both Lumistar and SBS," said David Penharlow and John Reeser, general managers of Lumistar, LLC.

SBS and Lumistar offer individual product strengths when used together offer complete solutions that will benefit both existing and future customers. Collectively, the two companies will offer products and technologies such as RF radio products for L and S band; IF receivers; RF downconverters, subcarrier demodulators; bit synchronizers; decommutators; PCM simulators; DACs and bit error rate testers.
