Choice of Intel® processors
Available as system slot or non system slot
Extended temperature option
CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA October 2nd, 2007 Once again demonstrating the companyâs commitment to leveraging the latest technology while providing its existing customers with a clear and cost-effective upgrade path, GE Fanuc Embedded Systems today announced the CC11 and CL11 3U CompactPCI single board computers. Featuring a choice of Intel® Celeron® M (1.06 GHz), Core⢠Duo (up to 2.0 GHz) or Coreâ¢2 Duo (1.5 GHz) processors and up to two Gigabytes of onboard DDR2 SDRAM, each can be ordered as either a system slot or non system slot device.
Designed for a broad range of applications including automation, transportation, imaging, medical and robotics, the CC11 and CL11 take maximum advantage of the benefits of CompactPCI in its 3U form factor, delivering unprecedented performance from a small, lightweight package. Each board is optionally available in extended temperature range (-40º C to +75º C) forms to enable installation in environments that would otherwise be unsuitable.
âThese two new boards underline our continuing commitment to the CompactPCI standard, to delivering state of the art performance to the market and to ensuring that our customers have a well-defined, seamless migration path into the future,â said Wayne McGee, Global Director of SBC Product Line Management at GE Fanuc Embedded Systems. âThe CC11 and CL11 offer flexibility that allows customers to choose exactly the functionality they need, and are highly appropriate for deployment in both standard commercial as well as extended temperature environments.â
The CL11 is a single slot solution, featuring dual Gigabit Ethernet, two Serial ATA ports, a single serial I/O port and a VGA interface. The CC11 provides additional functionality, leveraging a dual wide front panel, with up to four Gigabit Ethernet ports, three Serial ATA ports, two serial ports, integrated SATA/EIDE support for hard disk or Compact Flash drive, SDVO/DVI-D support and an optional audio interface. Six USB 2.0 ports are provided on both boards.
Both the CC11 and CL11 are RoHS-compliant. Support for Windows® XP, VxWorks and Linux are provided (QNX 6 and LynxOS are available on request). Availability of the CC11 and CL11 is immediate.
