Overview
RM944 is an economical 6U VME64 full wire speed, non-blocking Layer 2 managed Ethernet switch. It offers 22 ports of 10/100BaseTX to the rear I/O and two Gigabit ports to the front panel. The Gigabit ports can be either copper (RJ45) or fiber (LC). All the rear ports are routed to the P2 connector of the VME. The management can be done through any of its 24+2 ports. The RM944 supports IEEE 802.1 Rapid Spanning Tree for network loop detection and disabling and for fault-tolerant connectivity.
