LV-1553 Software

The LV-1553 software is the interface to operate Abaco Systems' MIL-STD-1553 USB, XMC, PCIe, PCI, cPCI, ExpressCard, PCMCIA, Q104-Plus, AMC and VME boards with National Instruments’ LabVIEW graphical programming environment.

Utilizing LabVIEW users can quickly develop applications using LV-1553’s VI (Virtual Instruments) library which is linked to Abaco Systems ’ BusTools/1553 API (Application Programming Interface) library. Included are several LabVIEW examples to help jump-start development by demonstrating how to configure the board to function as a Bus Controller, Remote Terminal and/or Bus Monitor. 

In addition to Windows support, LV-1553 provides support for National Instruments’ LabVIEW-RT operating system with several of Abaco Systems ’ MIL-STD-1553 boards on desktop and PXI compatible systems.
