At the start of a new year, I wanted to update you on the positive progress we’ve made in the last 12 months for Abaco. We started from a tough restructure resulting from our performance in 2017. In 2018, everyone worked hard; our company is financially healthy; and our results are significant. Our new 2018 orders increased substantially, as did our revenues.

Our new design wins are at a record level, which bodes well for our collective future. The sales and business team have identified several billion dollars of new areas to sell and integrate our products. With the talent and work ethic we have here at Abaco, I know we’re going to continue the success we’ve seen this year.

We’ve spent the year organizing ourselves for continuing success across the business and we’ll continue to do that. These changes have been made with four key goals in mind. First: becoming nimble, more responsive, and able to react to what our customers want from us, when they want it. Second: an emphasis and much stronger focus on sales and winning new business. Third: breaking down some of the silos that existed and working more closely together. Fourth: refining our processes so that we’re much better placed to deliver the levels of service our customers have a right to expect.

We’re in business to deliver our warfighters, industrial partners and commercial customers a decisive competitive advantage. It’s always a great feeling when you know you’re doing a worthwhile job. If you haven’t seen it already, I strongly recommend you check out our video.

My very best wishes to you for the coming year.
