Hiring

By now, you’re hopefully aware that Abaco Systems (the business formed when GE spun out its embedded computing organization) was successfully launched last month—and we’ve hit the ground running. You can almost touch the excitement around the place as we make our plans.

Hopefully also, you’ll have seen how we characterize our business—that our commitment to innovation in our products and to delivering on our promises will see our customers succeed. We know that, if that happens—and we’re 100% determined that it will—our business will grow. Our plans are very ambitious—and very achievable.

To get where we want to be, we need people. Not just any people, though. We’re looking for the best of the best. People who are on top of their game—but who also bring with them key attributes.

The first of those attributes is an unswerving commitment to ensuring that we offer the industry’s best customer experience—all the way from the first meeting to the last delivery. The second is a belief that ethics, integrity and honesty are the fundamental building blocks of any great business.

An ideal employer?

But if that’s what we’re looking for from you—what are you looking for in an ideal employer? You’ll want to know that what you do—everything you do—makes a difference. You’ll want to be free to—encouraged to—bring new ideas to the table, and take responsibility for seeing them through to fruition. You’ll value working with others who are the same caliber you are—smart, talented, committed. You’ll want to work for a company that wants you to make decisions and to take responsibility for them.

And: you’ll be intrigued by the idea of working with a unique kind of company—one that’s only just started out, yet has 30+ years of experience in our industry, and is the acknowledged market leader.

Most of all, though, you’ll want to work for a company that is going places, and that will be a great place not just for a job—but a career.

We have a whole range of career opportunities—not only at our main facilities in Huntsville, Alabama and Towcester, England, but around the world. We’re looking for technical support engineers, field application engineers, a regional sales manager, a commercial operations manager, a lead hardware test engineer, a lead software engineer, a systems engineer, a project manager, and an IT systems architect and administrator. And those are just the beginning!

Interested? Of course you are. Check out the opportunities at www.abaco.com/careers, and take it from there. We’ll look forward to hearing from you.
